From the beginning, I wanted to provide a 'complete' service to clients. Mastering the Design, Manufacturing, Finishing and Installation process. Many of my
skills have been self taught. But to challenge myself, I decided to returned to College, and be judged by my peers, and I was awarded a Diploma from The City
and Guilds Institute.
My Dad brought me up with a love of fine furniture. He is the inspiration of Forest Furniture, the Company I started, born out of making innovative wooden products for modern living.
My early memories, watching him upholster Chippendale chairs, listening to the rhythmic sound of his treadle Singer sewing machine and the smell of freshly machined timber, Shellac and Turpentine coming from his workshop, has stayed with me to this day.
My initial consultation is free of charge, so if you are thinking about changing the space you live or work in, get in touch. I will show you how to find the space you never knew you had, or create a dream kitchen that will become the heart of your home.

In 2002, I was chatting with a Designer friend, she asked me to make furniture for her home. From those modest beginnings, providing hand crafted bespoke wooden furniture to just a few private and professional clients, my business has grown through word of mouth, and I have built a reputation as a reliable, innovative creator, for both home and work spaces.
All of my work is truly ‘bespoke’. "The devil is in the detail" and my attention to the detail, is second to none. By working with you, I will listen to what you have in mind and then suggest a few different ways to make that happen. I will create drawings and provide all the samples you will need to reassure you that you are making the right choices and are on the right track.
For me, Customer Service is as important as the finished furniture. I take the time to work closely with all of my clients at the early stages of their projects, to make sure there are no surprises further down the line. It’s an old tradesman’s saying, “Measure twice, cut once”. And I will keep you well informed of progress and time scales throughout the process.
As a younger man, I spent many years working in the Service Industry. But I always harboured a desire, using the skills he taught me, to create handmade, beautiful furniture.
